In the best hands

By entrusting us with the care of your child, you are placing your trust in us. In a safe and caring environment, we devote ourselves to your child and offer them space for personal development. During the daily routine, we bring all the children together and encourage social interaction between older and younger children

Our team consists of qualified specialists who come from various educational backgrounds and have a wide range of additional qualifications in the educational, creative, musical, and/or sporting fields. This broad expertise enables them to create a comprehensive range of holistic educational opportunities for the children.

Constant exchange and regular knowledge transfer ensure close cooperation within the bilingual team and continuous improvement and reflection. Furthermore, we are cooperation partners of the International University and thus accompany dual students during their studies in early childhood education.

Overall, this carefully assembled team creates an inspiring environment in which children can benefit from a diverse and holistic education.
Our educational quality manager ensures compliance with our quality standards, the further development of our staff through coaching, and close networking between our Early Bird Clubs.
In addition, a senior manager ensures that our trainees and students receive the best possible support during their studies or training.

Dialogue with parents

We maintain an open and respectful dialogue with parents. We listen, give feedback, and share our observations from everyday life. This creates trust and a reliable basis for the children’s development. Together, we find solutions and actively shape each child’s path.

Doorstep chats

Doorstep chats take place when parents drop off and pick up their children and serve as an opportunity for informal discussion and positive relationship building between parents and educational staff. Doorstep chats provide brief information about the child’s daily routine.

Orientation plan for Baden-Württemberg

Everyday life at the Early Bird Club is very colorful and varied. We enjoy doing crafts, singing, making music, experimenting, and exercising. We present this to you in the form of a monthly review. Together with the children, we will select pictures of everyday activities and display them on a monthly poster. In addition, a summary overview of the activities will be part of this poster. Furthermore, the horizontal division shows which areas of education and development (body, senses, language, thinking, feelings and empathy, meaning, values, and religion) were the focus of each activity.

Informative parent evenings

Twice a year, parent evenings are held at each Early Bird Club outside of opening hours. At the first parent evening, we provide you with unique and impressive insights into our daycare routine in a special way, while the second parent evening of the year is theme-specific and highlights our educational work.

Documentation

We lovingly compile and record the children’s daily developments, achievements, and creative works for you. We then guide you through your child’s individual experiences with us in regular meetings.

Development documentation

Twice a year, the teachers offer parents development meetings, which are based on Kuno Beller and the Mondey scale. This ensures that parents are always informed about their children’s current stage of development and that the educational staff can offer individually tailored, high-quality support at all times.
In addition, a development portfolio is created for each child, which is updated monthly and records your child’s individual developmental steps visually and in writing.

We continue to develop

We see ourselves as a learning community that is constantly evolving. Further training, new concepts, and team discussions enrich our work. This allows us to remain flexible and respond to the needs of children and families. We see change as an opportunity to become even better.

Educational Quality Manager

Our Educational Quality Manager is responsible for all Early Bird Clubs. She trains new educational managers and English-speaking employees and offers trainee programs. She is available to all Early Bird Club employees for educational questions and regularly visits the individual facilities.

Continuous professional development

Three times a year, our teaching staff attend training courses led by internal and external lecturers. This ensures that we are constantly developing and addressing educational topics.

Best Practice

In addition, the managers of all our facilities meet once a month for joint management meetings. These meetings provide an opportunity for an active exchange of best practices: we discuss current projects, develop new ideas, explore funding opportunities, and plan further development strategies.

Our educational concept is regularly reviewed, revised, and adapted to current requirements. Suggestions for improvement and creative ideas from the individual teams are brought to the meetings by the educational managers. Together, we continuously work on our concept to stay up to date and keep pace with developments.

Genuine individuality

We see every child as unique and valuable. We take their strengths, interests, and individual pace seriously. Our programs are designed to leave room for personalities to flourish. This allows each child to develop their own identity and grow with confidence.

Combining family and career

With extended opening hours, we cater specifically to the needs of working parents. In our daily interactions, we coordinate the education at home and at our facility and keep you informed about new experiences and developments. This close dialogue allows you to stay closely involved in your child’s development.

Close and personal communication between parents and educators is extremely important for the well-being of the child. Experiences at home and at the nursery/kindergarten should enrich each other and become a harmonious whole for the child. That is why we, as a team of educators, seek not only to build a close relationship with your child, but also with you.

New admissions throughout the year

In order to make the transition as pleasant and personalized as possible for you and your child, we accept new admissions throughout the year and therefore do not have mass orientation periods. This gives the primary caregiver time to focus intensively on your child and their start at our facility.

Individual digital tours

To give you an insight into our daycare routine before your child starts, we offer individual and flexible appointments for digital tours of our facilities, during which we explain the respective facility and our associated concept.

Individual needs

Both in kindergarten and in the nursery, there are individual needs that are naturally coordinated with you.

For us, these include, for example:
• Sleeping habits and times
• Religious, cultural, or physical dietary requirements

Every child is given a place

Regardless of their parents’ employment status, because early childhood education is important for all children.

We accept children from Stuttgart and the surrounding area, because education knows no city boundaries.

A day at the
Early Bird Club

The daily routine alternates between rituals, creative activities, and free playtime. This gives the children a sense of security while also providing them with lots of new stimuli. Every day offers opportunities to learn, laugh, and strengthen friendships.

Daily routine

At the Early Bird Club, the day begins at 7:30 a.m. with everyone arriving together and playing freely in mixed groups. This is followed by breakfast in groups and a morning circle before the group’s daily routine begins with the respective schedule for the day. Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. in the nursery and at 12:00 p.m. in the kindergarten, followed by an afternoon nap. In the afternoon, there is free play and activities in small groups, interrupted by a snack at 3:00 p.m. The day ends with more play and activities until the Early Bird Club closes at 5:30 p.m.

Children can be dropped off flexibly between 7:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. every day. We are particularly committed to daily outdoor play and discovery in all weather conditions. This gives the children the opportunity to experience nature up close. In addition, we attach great importance to holistic development, in which all areas of development are taken into account and individually supported.

An entire city as an outdoor area

In addition to the small and large areas available to us in the clubs, our activities include daily excursions to interesting and beautiful parks, museums, and gardens in Stuttgart and the surrounding area.

We visit places such as the Villa Berg park, the palace gardens, and the Kräher and Weiler forests. There, children from the city in particular learn about and appreciate nature as a habitat for plants, animals, and people. The seasons and the basic laws of nature become understandable, and the connections in nature become experiential knowledge.
